Durante a 12ª Premiação Anual de Realização Interativa a Academia de Artes e Ciências Interativas (AIAS) premiou os melhores jogos de 2008.
Este ano o jogo que mais se destacou foi o título da Sony Computer Entertainment, LittleBigPlanet, que recebeu 10 indicações e facturou 8 estatuetas, sendo uma delas a de melhor game do ano.
